Geoflow (https://www.geoflow.io) is a new app designed for travelers or anyone interested in learning more about the history of what’s around them. It’s currently available for iOS and Android, and uses your phone’s location to find nearby Wikipedia articles. It’s particularly useful in cities, where there’s a high density of interesting articles and historical landmarks. You can use the map view to scrub around different locations and update the search area, to look for things not necessarily right around your location.
It’s a great app for travelers or anyone new to a city. Go learn something! Coming soon: multi-language support, push notifications (of interesting nearby sites) and other smaller updates. Check it out if you’re interested in learning more about what’s right around you!
